For example, in Honiton, Devon, in summer 2007 we sold a house in a ‘Coronation Street’ type setting for £124,000 at auction. A house in the same road, in the same condition sold by auction last week for £66,000."

Clearly, I am a huge fan of buying property at auction since it avoids all of the normal lengthy purchasing procedures that you usually have to endure, with the risk of everything falling through at the eleventh hour.
